Islamism: New apartment searches in Berlin
200 police have searched the homes of suspected Islamists in Berlin, Potsdam and in Nordhausen. The focus of the raid, the cell of the self-proclaimed ” Emir ” Ismet is D.
Berlin – The Berlin State Criminal Investigation Department and the Attorney General’s office in Berlin have their investigations against the Islamist cell to the’ Emir of Moabit’ extended. On Tuesday morning, police searched eleven apartments in Berlin, one in Brandenburg state capital Potsdam and one in Nordhausen. The searches should bring further evidence of terrorist activities in Syria. Evidence that attacks were planned in Germany of the group are not vested before, a police spokesman said.
On Friday, two 41 and 43 -year-old men were arrested in Berlin. They are considered the leader of the Islamist cell to the accused Ismet D. and Emin F.
